About General Conference

The 180th Semiannual General Conference of the Church will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 2-3, 2010. The Saturday general sessions will begin at 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.with the general priesthood meeting to be held on Saturday, 8:00 p.m. ; Sunday sessions will be held at 11:30 a.m. (which includes Music and the Spoken Word) and 4:00 p.m.

The First Presidency invites all members of the Church to participate by attending, viewing, or listening via television, radio, satellite, or Internet transmission at www.lds.org. Messages of inspiration and guidance will be delivered by the First Presidency, members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and other General Authorities and general officers of the Church.

Dear Sisters,
We wanted a fun way to keep you informed with what's up in Canton's Relief Society. So I thought we would give this a try. Let me know what you think.

September 14th- 7pm Tuesday
“Back to School-Back to Basics”
It’s time for school, which classes will you take? It doesn’t matter the teachers are great! Bring your scriptures if you want to excel. And make sure to be there before you hear the dinner bell!





The signature quilts were given to the out going Stake Presidency Sunday after conference. Of course they LOVED them.

The LDS church is hosting a huge preparedness fair along with several other churches and many civic leaders in the area.

The fair is from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the LDS church building at 1947 Brockett Road, Tucker, GA 30084.
